Understand how we think: the LifeCourse framework

March 10, 2015 - 1 minute read

On March 9, 2015, the MOF2F Quarterly Stakeholders meeting convened at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center in Kansas City, MO.  Watch the video below.

In the morning, Sheli Reynolds, director of Missouri Family to Family, gavean overview of the LifeCourse framework.  The LifeCourse framework is the foundation of the work MOF2F does and is spreading across the country through the National Community of Practice for Supporting Families of Individuals with I/DD, in which Missouri is participating as the demonstration state.

Follow along as Sheli explains the framework with the LifeCourse Infographic, which can be found here: http://supportstofamilies.org/cop/wp-content/uploads/infographic-february-2015.pdf

Later in the morning and in the afternoon, practical applications of the framework and LifeCourse tools were given.  Stay tuned for updates from the meeting and LifeCourse tools here at mofamilytofamily.org

Our stakeholders meetings gather individuals with developmental disabilities or special healthcare needs, their families, and the professionals that support them to discuss the things that are important to families in Missouri, share information with each other, and serve in an advisory capacity to our network as we develop new products and expand our program.
